Piedmont HealthCare Gains New Neurologist in Charlotte, Dr. Matthew “Max” Carraro, Lake Norman Neurology
December 15, 2021, Statesville, NC– Piedmont HealthCare welcomes Dr. Max Carraro, MD to their Lake Norman Neurology – Charlotte office on 6060 Piedmont Row Drive South. Dr. Carraro is board certified in Neurology and fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology.
Dr. Carraro has been practicing in Charlotte for the past 6 years and now joins Dr. Kurt Washburn and Dr. Roderick Elias in the SouthPark location of PHC’s Lake Norman Neurology.
“We have loved living in Charlotte and becoming a part of the community,” said Dr. Carraro. “It has been a privilege to care for thousands of patients already, including more than 1,000 people living with multiple sclerosis. My purpose has always been to provide exceptional care; we strive to be cutting edge, comprehensive, and always compassionate. Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Carraro completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He attended medical school, internship and residency at the Ohio State University, followed by fellowship at Riverside Methodist Hospital (OhioHealth).
Dr. Carraro remains infused with the soul, music, and culture of his hometown in Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and dog; running, cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors and new music.
