Iredell Health System was founded in 1954 as a small, nonprofit community hospital. Today, Iredell Memorial Hospital is a 247-bed facility and Iredell Health System employs nearly 1,600 people and has about 240 physicians in a wide range of specialties.

Lake Norman Regional Medical Center
Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has been serving the health care needs of the greater Lake Norman area, Iredell and surrounding counties, since 1926. The 123-bed, acute-care hospital offers medical services and is located just off I-77, Exit 33, in Mooresville. The medical campus includes 24-hour emergency medicine, a center for surgical weight loss, women’s services, The Stork’s Landing Maternity Center, cardiology, oncology and surgical services, including an orthopedic specialty center and an outpatient surgery center, with designation as an American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (AIMIS) Center of Excellence.

Davis Regional Medical Center
Davis Regional Medical Center is in the process of transitioning to be an inpatient hospital focused on Behavioral Health Services. The need for behavioral health services in North Carolina and across the country is at an all-time high, and Davis Regional will support access for the people who need this specialized care. During this transition, Davis Regional will continue to provide required hospital services. All other services, including emergency room, obstetrics, surgical services and all outpatient tests and procedures, will be available at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville.
