Iredell County’s Largest Speculative Building has Sold for $69M
Local developer Kathy Godley has sold the largest industrial shell building in the region, located in Troutman. Walmart Fulfillment Services LLC has acquired the industrial building located at 386 Old Murdock Road for $69 million. The building is located in Troutman Industrial Park on approximately 155 acres. The building is less than one mile from exit 45 on Interstate 77 and less than 10 miles from Interstate 40. The building features a 36-foot clear height and 238 dock-high doors.
“Iredell offers an excellent transportation network coupled with good regional growth in population and workforce, making us an attractive community for logistic providers,” said Jenn Bosser, President & CEO, Iredell County Economic Development Corporation.
Godley has been a developer and provider of industrial real estate for many years. She has previously developed 300,000-square-foot building in Troutman and 500,000-square-foot building in Mooresville.
Matthew Greer and Brad Cherry with JLL marketed the facility for lease on behalf of Godley.
