The upcoming Industry Leaders Council (ILC) on August 24, 2022, from 10:00 am–12:00 pm, will be held on the campus of Mitchell Community College (MCC), in the Continuing Education and Technology and Workforce Development Center located at 701 W Front Street, Statesville, N.C. The presentation will be provided by Jamie Ottinger, owner of Express Employment Professionals. Jamie will be addressing many of the issues that ILC members requested to include Barriers and Solutions to Recruitment and Retention of employees, as well as, leading a discussion/update about local hourly wages in the area. Following the presentation, MCC will lead a tour of the Mechatronics Lab and provide an update on current employee upskilling opportunities. Lastly, lunch will be provided courtesy of Express Employment Professionals.
