Troutman– A Cornelius development company is acquiring nearly 800 acres in Barium Springs – a small community between Troutman and Statesville – for a mixed-use development.
Children’s Hope Alliance (CHA), a nonprofit serving at-risk children and families, has announced it has reached an agreement to sell property it owns in Barium Springs, a longtime location of a children’s home, to Prestige Acquisitions LLC, a division of Cornelius-based Prestige Development Corporation, a real estate development company founded in 2016 by Brian Mahoney. Prestige has developments in several towns around the Charlotte metro area and focuses on developing residential, mixed-use and commercial communities.
