Colliers 2022 Year-End Industrial Market Report
According to Colliers’ Year-End Report, 2022 was a banner year for the Charlotte Industrial market. Leasing activity reached record levels due to tenants’ continued belief in Charlotte’s growth. In Iredell County, the Iredell EDC has worked in partnership with property owners, real estate brokers, developers, investors, and local governments to bring to fruition 11.1 million square feet of newly announced industrial product. Currently, 1 million square feet is under construction (foundation, concrete pad poured, and tilt walls going up), with an additional 4.063 million square feet in the pipeline that has not been announced but is currently preparing for entitlement and is working on due diligence for site control.
